How this website handles data
Last updated 1 August 2026. This notice covers cedent.tech only — it is not a statement about how a live Cedent product would handle case data, which does not yet exist.
Who this is
Cedent is a pre-launch company building authority-verification and relay infrastructure for estate asset transfers. This site is a placeholder describing that work — there is no live product, no customer accounts, and no case data being processed. Contact: hello@cedent.tech.
What this site collects
This site has no forms, no accounts, and no cookies of its own. The only way to contact us is the Get in touch link, which opens your own email application addressed to hello@cedent.tech. Whatever you choose to write and send is received directly in that inbox and used solely to respond to you — it is not entered into a database, shared with a third party, or used for marketing.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how many people visit this page. It is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites — it reports aggregated counts (roughly how many visits, from which country, on which page) and cannot identify you personally.
Legal basis
Where UK GDPR applies, our basis for reading an email you send us is legitimate interest — replying to a message you initiated. Aggregated analytics data is not personal data and does not require a separate basis.
Your rights
If you have emailed us, you can ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, by writing to hello@cedent.tech. Since we do not run accounts or a database, this is usually just the email thread itself.
Changes
This is a pre-launch site and this notice will change as the company does — most notably once a real product exists and processes actual case data, which will need, and get, a substantially more detailed notice than this one.
